Stephen Curry is taking a well-deserved rest this summer after leading the Golden State Warriors to the NBA championship. And when he says rest, it includes not shooting the ball.

In his latest appearance on 95.7 The Game, Brandon Payne–Curry's trainer–revealed that the plan for the Warriors star this offseason is to really get some much-needed break to rest and recuperate. While one would expect the GOAT shooter to do shooting drills for breakfast, lunch and dinner, that won't be on the menu for a couple of weeks.

“Steph will take significant time off. He won't shoot a ball for a couple of weeks,” Payne shared.

When Anthony Davis said the same thing, highlighting how he hasn't touched the ball since the Los Angeles Lakers' last game of the season in April, a lot of people lost their mind and went crazy. After all, following a horrendous season, the last thing fans would want to hear is him taking more time off.

Sure enough, Warriors fans–or perhaps all NBA fans–won't react the same way to Stephen Curry. He led the Warriors to a championship, and he has nothing left to prove. If anything, he earned the time to take a vacation and enjoy the offseason with his family.

Besides everyone knows that when Curry gets back to work, he is laser-focused with a single goal in mind.
