With only a day's distance following the Golden State Warriors' latest loss at the hands of the Memphis Grizzlies, point guard Stephen Curry talked about his late-game ejection, after throwing his mouthpiece at referee Scott Wall in frustration for the lack of a call as his team pushed for a comeback.

“I'm obviously having some regret about kind of going overboard a little bit and lashing out,” said Curry. “I think once [Wall] he saw the mouthpiece flying, he was already throwing me out. I don't even know if he knew where it was aimed, let alone where it ended up, but I wasn't trying to hit him with it or put him in danger by any stretch of the imagination.”

“Again, it was a dumb thing to do, it was stupid. I'll learn from it and try to move on.”

Curry apologized right after the incident, but could face a potential suspension from the NBA for making contact with a game official, especially since this hasn't been the first time he's hit someone with his signature mouthpiece.

The back-to-back MVP was ejected during Game 6 of the NBA Finals after he threw his mouthpiece toward the stands, which at the time, was the first ejection of his career.
