Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is extremely close to his younger brother Seth Curry of the Philadelphia 76ers. However, the two-time NBA MVP recently admitted that he doesn't always keep tabs on how Seth's team is doing, especially since they play in another conference.

In fact, Curry revealed that he has no idea that the Sixers currently hold the top spot in the Eastern Conference with an impressive 13-6 slate.

“I don't even follow the East, so I didn't even know that,” the elder Curry and Warriors superstar said on Thursday, per Alex Didion of NBC Sports. “I knew they were playing well, I knew they were happy to have him back from protocols and all that, I didn't even know that, so shout out to S Dot.”

Seth Curry has indeed stepped away from the shadows of his more successful brother over the years and has turned into a pretty good NBA player as well. Entering the Sixers' game versus the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday, the 30-year-old shooter has been averaging 14.5 points on 53.9 percent shooting from the field and 50.9 from deep in 12 games.

The Sixers guard did miss significant time after testing positive for COVID-19 earlier this month. But his team stayed hot during his absence and has gotten even more formidable now that he's cleared to play once more.

Stephen Curry, meanwhile, does care for his brother dearly, but you can't blame him for being unaware of Philly's current success. The three-time NBA champion, after all, has his own worries to think about, considering the Warriors' inconsistent performances as of late.

The Warriors hold a 10-9 record after 19 contests, which is just ninth in the Western Conference standings.
