There is no doubt about it. Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is one of the best shooters in NBA history. We can only wait until the end of his career to conclude if he really is the greatest we've ever seen. But for now, here's more statistics to defend his case.

As reported by StatMuse, this is Curry's third consecutive season that he's averaging four 3-pointers a game. He's the only player who has accomplished this feat. And he did it in just 51 games.

The streak started in 2015 when he drilled 5.1 threes a game in 11.2 attempts in 79 games. In 2016, he made 4.1 long distance shots in 10 attempts in 79 games. This season, he knocked down 4.2 threes in 9.8 attempts in just 51 games. To add more, he has never shot below 40 percent from 3-point range in his whole career.

Currently, he's the seventh all-time in 3-pointers made with 2,129. He's just in his ninth year in the league and only 30 years old. He still has at least three to four years left in his prime and even after that, he has at least two years to go before he can wrap it up.

If he remains healthy and performs consistently, he may take the crown from Ray Allen as the all-time leader in 3-pointers made.

The Warriors will face the San Antonio Spurs in the first round of the playoffs. Curry will likely be out of the series nursing an MCL sprain. The Warriors are highly expected to come out on top. By the second round of the playoffs, hopefully, Curry is ready and locked in.
