Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry broke the NBA's record for most three-pointers made all time in Tuesday's win over the New York Knicks. The Davidson product stands alone atop the list of the NBA's greatest shooters, but the Warriors star's trainer made a shocking three-point prediction that Curry might actually make come true.
“Not even close to being done.”

Stephen Curry isn't even close to being done, per his trainer, Brandon Payne. He isn't ruling out 5,000 career three-pointers for the Warriors' star, which would be a mind-boggling number.
The fact that 5,000 three-pointers, a number that would be difficult for the Warriors point guard to reach, even comes up in conversation is a testament to how great Curry is.

Whatever number Curry eventually does hit, Payne is certainly right about one thing. The Warriors sharpshooter isn't even close to being done yet.
Yes. Curry is 33 years old and lower-body injuries have plagued him at times in his career, but the man is playing about as good as he ever has. He's averaging 26.9 points, 6.1 assists and a career-high 5.4 made three-pointers per game.
Curry has also led the Warriors to a 23-5 record, the best in the NBA. If he continues to age this gracefully, he'll make the record for most three-pointers made untouchable.
Then Curry will really stand alone as the NBA's greatest shooter.
