Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are world champions. The Dubs defeated the Boston Celtics in six games, securing their fourth NBA Finals victory in the last eight years. For the first time in his career, Curry was named the Finals MVP, a worthy nod to his standout performance.

After the title win, Curry sent out a savage tweet, capping off the special night for the Dubs and their fans:

“Night Night.” That's what Curry tweeted after putting the Celtics' season to rest in the NBA Finals while holding his trophy and Finals MVP award. The Warriors star wouldn't be the “Petty King” — what he called himself — without a little bit of trolling now, would he?

Of course, Curry also utilized this “Night Night” move on the NBA Finals floor against the Celtics, as well as earlier in the playoffs on multiple occasions.

The Dubs star certainly earned the right to celebrate. Curry enjoyed another standout postseason, averaging 27.4 points, 5.9 assists, and 5.2 rebounds while shooting 39.7 percent from beyond the arc on 10.4 attempts per contest.

The Warriors star stepped it up a notch in the NBA Finals against the Celtics, dropping 30-plus points in four of the contests. This includes a 43-point masterclass on the road in Game 4 and 34 points in the closeout win at TD Garden. It's no wonder he was feeling good about himself when he sent out that tweet.

Night Night, indeed.
