Steve Kerr took over as head coach of the Golden State Warriors for Mark Jackson in 2014. Since then, the Dubs have been to four straight NBA Finals and won three championships.

Kerr is no doubt a brilliant head coach, but it also helps when you inherit a roster which has two of the greatest shooters in NBA history on it in Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala are no slouches either.

Add to the fact that Golden State signed one of the greatest scorers in NBA history in Kevin Durant in the summer of 2016, and it's easy to see why Kerr has had so much success as the man in charge of leading the Dubs.

The 53-year-old coach is fully aware of how lucky he has been during his tenure with Golden State thus far.

“I'm well aware of how lucky I've been to basically inherit a team that had multiple Hall of Famers on the roster,” Steve Kerr told Nick Friedell of ESPN. “I probably wasn't aware of it when I took the job, but it quickly became apparent how good these guys were.”

After signing DeMarcus Cousins last summer, the Warriors now have a starting lineup with five All-Stars in it. Golden State is the heavy favorite to win the title again this season.

If it happens, Kerr, Curry, Thompson, Green and Iguodala will have won four rings in five years, while Durant would capture his third straight title.
