After assuming office in 2017, President Donald Trump has been the most controversial figure in world politics. In fact, the latter sentence is somewhat of an understatement. President Trump has been consistently criticized by millions of Americans, and across all sectors of life.

The NBA has been no exception. Many head coaches have openly criticized Trump's policies, repeatedly proclaiming that the former reality star isn't fit to lead the United States. Players have joined the fray, and now the NBA has become a political stomping ground without a single-Trump supporter in sight.

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, who is also a frequent Trump critic, recently compared the U.S. President to Brick from the movie Anchorman.

Kerr was responding to Trump's endorsement of the civil forfeiture of guns, an issue that has become viral lately since the deadly shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School that killed several students and teachers. Trump has remained an avid supporter of gun rights and hasn't leaned towards supporting any attempts at gun reform, even though mass shootings are becoming too common in America.

While many politicians strongly urge basketball players and coaches to stay out of politics, that may be an impossible task for Kerr. In his youth, his father was mercilessly gunned down. This event shaped the life of Kerr into what he is today, and he apparently isn't for just anyone having the ability to purchase a gun.

In any case, the conflict between the NBA and the Trump Administration won't likely be going anywhere anytime soon. There are apparently too many differences both parties have in how the country should be ran.
