The Golden State Warriors are on a five-game losing streak after falling to the Denver Nuggets on Monday night with an extremely shorthanded roster. The Warriors' last win was a blowout victory against the Portland Trail Blazers, which came back on Feb. 24.
Since then, Steve Kerr's Warriors have lost their identity. The shorthanded team is now fighting to defend itself from the season turning into a disastrous ending, but Kerr remains confident things will turn around.

“I feel great about where we're heading. I feel great about what's in front of us, and what's possible for us to accomplish,” Kerr told ClutchPoints. “I feel great about guys getting healthy, and completing our team roster-wise. I said this to you guys quite a bit over the last week, but you got to go through the fire to kind of build that armor that you need, and we're going through the fire right now. … I have no doubt we're going to get through this period, but it's no fun going through it.”
Article Continues BelowThe Warriors held the second-best record in the NBA for most of the season. Now they trail the Phoenix Suns and Memphis Grizzlies in the Western Conference. In the last 10 games, the Dubs are tied with the Los Angeles Lakers for the worst record in the NBA with a 2-8 mark.

Although the Warriors are struggling, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Draymond Green announced on his show that he's looking at a March 14 return date. James Wiseman is also getting closer to returning from injury, as is veteran Andre Iguodala. The Warriors are still optimistic about their chances this season, but it all depends on their health.
