The Golden State Warriors have the second-best record in the NBA, the best defense, three All-Stars, the leader in three-pointers made this season, but Steve Kerr's favorite stat from this season is none of the above. The one that impressed him most comes from Kevon Looney who is the only player to play in every game this season.

“It's probably my favorite stat of the season,” Kerr told ClutchPoints. “Loon has always been a favorite in our organization for so many people based on who he is. The last couple of years were really tough on him health-wise. So, to see him healthy, playing night in and night out, brings everybody a lot of joy.”

This is Looney's seventh season with the Warriors, and this is arguably his best season yet. The former UCLA Bruin is averaging career highs in minutes, points, and rebounds.

Without Looney's physical presence around the rim, the Warriors could be in a ton of trouble. His consistency and durability have kept the Dubs steady on defense even without their anchor Draymond Green. The Warriors have maintained having the No. 1 defense and it's helped them win during a time that was supposed to be a tough stretch.

Going into the game against the Utah Jazz Looney was questionable to play. After going through his normal pregame routine he decided to give it a go, and he continued his perfect season. He hasn't said playing every game this year is a goal, but Looney is the guy who will do whatever his team needs from him to win, if that means playing every night that's what he will do.
