Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson has been back 32 days and he's been pretty impressive from the start. The 5-time All-Star has scored in double figures every game he's appeared in this season, and he's been a major part of the team's success during this nine-game winning streak.

As the Warriors got prepared to play the Utah Jazz, Steve Kerr got asked if he was surprised about how well Thompson has looked.

“I don't think anything surprised me, but I would say a month in we couldn't be happier with his development,” Kerr told ClutchPoints. “His improvement over that time, conditioning rhythm, comfort level, his patience, I think he looks every bit as good as he ever has. Honestly. He's still has a little more time to go before we can get him up to the 34, 35-minute mark, but he looks fantastic and it's really exciting.”

It's been a long journey back for the three-time champ, but he's determined to get back to the player he was before the injuries. Thompson is averaging 16.7 points 3.3 rebounds and 3 assists. His shooting has improved every game and although it's not at the elite level we are accustomed to, there is no doubt he will get there.

The last time the Warriors were in the NBA Finals, Thompson was in the lineup. Now that he's back the Warriors have hopes of playing on that stage again at the end of this year. It will take a lot of consistency and some luck but the Warriors believe with Thompson they can do it.
