The Golden State Warriors have a ton of star power, but they know very well that their role players are just as important for them to succeed. Before the Dubs' match against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night, Steve Kerr talked about three players who are all important pieces to their championship puzzle.

The future Hall of Fame coach had high praise for Juan Toscano-Anderson, Damion Lee and Gary Payton II.

“Well, there's a grit and a toughness about those guys,” Kerr told ClutchPoints. “I think they're great examples for the rest of our young players…It's all about the work and learning how to be a pro. Those guys had no chance to make it in the league if they couldn't figure out how to be a pro, how to work, and how to compete. So they add an element of toughness and grit to our team that I love.”

All three Warriors have contributed to Golden State's success in key moments this season, and they all have had times where they weren't in the everyday rotation. No matter the situation they're dealing with, Steve Kerr knows they are always ready when their number is called.

That's a skill that's hard to pull off in any circumstance, but the trio has figured it out. And that's a huge reason the Warriors have one of the deepest teams in the NBA. The entire squad is full of talented professionals who know how to do their job.

The Dubs have the second-best record in the NBA. Lee, Toscano-Anderson and Payton II might not make headlines often, but they have definitely helped the team get their incredible record.
