The trailer to the highly-anticipated movie Space Jam: A New Legacy starring LeBron James was released on Saturday. The superstar supporting cast featured NBA and WNBA names such as Diana Taurasi, Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Kyrie Irving, Chris Paul, and Warriors stars Draymond Green and Klay Thompson. Clutchpoints talked with Golden State's Stephen Curry about the upcoming film.

“It's going to be great. It's a legendary concept, Space Jam one and then LeBron (James) bringing it back, so that's going to be dope. I am going to watch it im excited to see it like everybody else, ” Curry said.

The original Space Jam was aired in 1996, starring Michael Jordan. With cameo appearances from Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Muggsy Bogues, Shawn Bradley, Larry Johnson, and Larry Bird.

Could you imagine a series between the cast of both movies in their prime? We asked Curry which cast he thought would win in a seven-game series, after a light-hearted chuckle, he replied.

“I haven't thought too much about the cast, so I don't have anything for you there,” said Curry, the Warriors' star point guard.

The release date of Space Jam: A New Legacy debuts July 16. The trailer looks fantastic and has every human and cartoon character from every galaxy anxiously awaiting the premiere of what some anticipate to be an instant classic.
