Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green can be a very high-motor player, and sometimes it gets the best of him. In the clip below, you can see Green force a pass off Klay Thompson's face that he was not expecting in the slightest.

Draymond Green has been struggling this season for the Warriors. His scoring production has dipped to an all-time low. He couldn't buy himself a jumper. Teams are leaving him wide-open from behind the arc. He's been very ineffective for the Warriors.

In the same tune, the Warriors have “struggled” as well. Their defense has been very mediocre. The injury bug hit Stephen Curry for a few weeks, and it left Kevin Durant to run the show. Not that it didn't work, rather Curry's impact was sorely missed.

Klay Thompson is having his worst season in recent years and possibly throughout his career; his shot selection has soured, and he's taking more midrange shots than he's ever had. It almost seems as if the Warriors are bored with their success.

Head coach Steve Kerr spoke about his team's offensive struggles at length with Anthony Slater of The Athletic:

“I think it’s a combination of a lot of things.  But we’ve got to be able to counter any defense that we see. That’s our job now. Basically everyone is playing the same way. We’re seeing the same patterns defensively, night in and night out. So we’ve got to adapt to that. That’s what we worked on today. I have no doubt that we will improve. We’ll improve our execution and find new ways to score.”

On the season, Draymond Green is averaging 7.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game while shooting only 40.7 percent from the field and 22.4 percent from beyond the arc.
