After retiring for good back in 2013, Rasheed Wallace has not made a lot of public appearances since. That changed recently though when he appeared with Kevin Garnett for his own segment in KG's Area 21 where they interviewed some All-Stars and participants in this year's All-Star Weekend festivities and asked them random questions, including the brand of the clothing that they wore.

With the former four-time All-Star not being in the limelight that much anymore, that made him almost unrecognizable to the security team of Klay Thompson. One of them even had to lift his hand to block Wallace from getting near the Golden State Warriors star guard until he realized who he was.

The 6-foot-10 North Carolina product noticeably lost some weight, which could explain why Thompson's security did not recognize him initially. However, they eventually allowed Wallace to approach Thompson and have the ambush interview done. Thompson was in a good mood and gamely allowed Wallace to interact with him for a good minute.

Wallace played 16 seasons in the NBA, suiting up for six different franchises. During his prime, he made a name for himself as a fiery competitor who was often hot-tempered in games. He won a championship back in 2004 as a member of the Detroit Pistons that featured the likes of Ben Wallace, Chauncey Billups, Tayshaun Prince, and Richard Hamilton, among others, and pulled off the upset in NBA Finals history against the heavily-favored Los Angeles Lakers with Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone, and Gary Payton.
