Stephen Curry showed up to the Golden State Warriors in a particularly distinct attire, draped on a full Kentucky Wildcats uniform after losing a bet with former Warriors teammate Kelenna Azubuike.

Curry's Davidson Wildcats were taken out by powerhouse Kentucky in the first round of the NCAA Tournament by a score of 78-73, forcing Curry to honor his bet and wear Wildcat blue from head to toe.

The sight just begs the question — how would have Curry fared had he committed to Kentucky?

Would he had stayed in school three years as he did in Davidson? Or would he follow the school model and be another one-and-done gem?

Curry wasn't heavily recruited out of high school, with most expecting his ceiling to be following his father's footsteps as a 3-point specialist.

A 6-foot-2, 160-pound prospect back in his college days, Curry led the nation in scoring during his last season at Davidson with 28.6 points per game, eventually drafted by the Warriors with the seventh overall pick.

Azubuike played only nine games with Curry during his rookie season, retiring shortly after. The Kentucky product has taken part in NBC Sports Bay Area's local broadcast of Golden State's game since 2017.
