Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry is known for making long-trick shots before games start. On Friday, he didn't disappoint.

Curry threw up a long floater after an exaggerated euro-step move. His shot bounced off the ground and sat on the rim for a bit and then rolled in. His teammates went absolutely nuts along with the crowd at Staples Center.

This game was huge for the Warriors because it was DeMarcus Cousins' first in a Golden State uniform. He had shocked the world this past offseason when he decided to sign a one year, $5 million deal with the team.

The Warriors actually need Cousins pretty badly. They only just gained the first seed in the West and have struggled to remain consistent on both sides of the ball. Draymond Green and Klay Thompson are both having poor seasons, and Steve Kerr hardly has any depth to work with.

Fortunately for the Warriors, Cousins provides a post presence and a rim protector that they never actually had. It will also allow Kerr to spread the minutes out further, keeping his team fresh for the postseason run.

On the season Stephen Curry has averaged 29.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game while shooting 49.1 percent from the field and 45.9 percent from deep. The Warriors are 31-14 going into Friday's contest and now have the chance to keep succeeding with Curry and Cousins carrying the squad.
