Cleveland Browns running back Duke Johnson, following a touchdown scamper, went out of his way to honor injured Pittsburgh Steelers LB Ryan Shazier on Sunday.

You may miss it upon the initial watch, so you might have to consume it twice.

Following several players on the Browns huddling around to take a knee, Duke Johnson stands up to hurl the number 50 out. For those unaware, that is the number Ryan Shazier wears.

This might seem somewhat random, but considering Duke Johnson has to face both the Steelers and Ryan Shazier twice a year, this is clearly a sign of respect.

Recently, the Steelers released several statements about the injured linebacker after placing him on season-ending IR.

“Unfortunately Ryan will not be able to contribute on the field during the remainder of this season,” Art Rooney said in a statement. “However, even off the field Ryan will continue to be one of our team leaders. We know his spirit and positive outlook will help him to continue in his recovery, as well as serve as an inspiration to our team.”

Mike Tomlin on Sunday said that Shazier’s mere being is strengthening his team.

“Just his spirit — I go see him, man, he wants to talk about the game plan,” Tomlin said, via ESPN. “He wants to talk about how the guys are doing. He wants to talk specifically about what’s transpiring in practice settings and so forth. That’s Ryan.”

A nice gesture by a member of the rival Browns. As usual, here's to hoping Shazier makes as full a recovery as possible.
