Get used to it Philadephia 76ers fans. The way your front office has handled the Ben Simmons situation has made the Sixers the biggest joke in the NBA. And the New Orleans Pelicans fans let you know it.

The Sixers suspended Simmons for their opening game on Wednesday night against the Pelicans because the controversial guard looked unengaged during practice. Before halftime, Pelicans fans started a chant in the arena saying “Where's Ben Simmons?”

Here's the glorious video (via House of Highlights):

Well, New Orleans, Ben is probably sitting at home somewhere.

The Sixers should get used to this as they are going to get a lot of laughs directed towards them this year about the whole situation with Simmons. At least until it gets cleared up.

There have not been any comments about whether or not Simmons will play in their next game. When he does play in Philadelphia, expect some loud boos. On the road, expect some chirping going on as well.

This is the first game of the season and the Sixers are already getting laughed at by the rest of the NBA. It's going to be a long campaign for them until they get rid of Simmons.

The Sixers' first home game is Friday. It will be really interesting to see if Ben Simmons will suit up amid all the drama.
