How do the Tennessee Titans fit into this picture? Whenever Tom Brady decides to retire, it will be the end one of the greatest careers of all time. He is possibly the most obvious Hall of Famer ever, and there's a strong argument for him being the greatest of all-time. I'm not just talking at quarterback, but in the game.

However, Tom Brady has made it clear he isn't done yet. The quarterback has at least one more year in him.

The catch is, it might not be with the New England Patriots. He currently isn't signed with the team he's spent his entire career with. And there are many that speculate he might be moving on.

While there's still a strong chance he re-signs with the Patriots, Brady has a lot of suitors. One of them could snatch him up if New England drags it's feet.

And if that happens, the Tennessee Titans could be a perfect landing spot for the Hall of Famer.

Why would the Titans be a perfect landing spot? Just look at the team.

The defense came into it's own towards the end of the season, and showed some absolute dominance in the playoffs.

They also have one of the best running backs in football in Derrick Henry (if they re-sign him). Meanwhile, there's a ton of talent when it comes to the receivers. A.J. Brown is clearly set to be a star. And of course, the line is more than up for the job of protecting Brady.

The big missing piece last year? A quarterback.

Yes, Ryan Tannehill had a great season. But there are two issues with that.

First off, he's a free agent as well. And he's probably going to be looking for a multi-year deal, capitalizing off his success in 2019. That seems pretty risky though. And Tannehill could be looking for a pretty sizable check too.

Then there's Tom Brady. He's probably going to just sign a one-year deal and might even go cheap because he wants to win a ring.

The other big point is Tannehill's actual play. Look at the playoff stats.

In Tennessee's two wins, Tannehill threw three touchdown passes compared to just one interception. That's pretty solid.

He also completed just 51.7% of his passes for 160 yards. Seriously, 160 passing yards combined between two games.

Tannehill enjoyed a strong season in 2019 and deserved a lot of the praise he was getting. Is he really the QB that's going to lead a team to a Super Bowl victory though?

Tannehill's “breakout 2019” season means he's got a second-lease on his NFL career. It also means he's going out there looking for a big contract though. And let's be honest, he isn't a sure-thing.

Brady on the other hand will want a short deal. He is a veteran that can help the young players learn how to win and get the most out of themselves. Oh, and the six rings don't hurt either.

If the Titans retain Tannehill or find another quarterback, they will be on the cusp of being considered Super Bowl contenders. If they sign Brady though, they will jump right near the top of the queue.
