At this point, the NBA should just hand Washington Wizards guard Russell Westbrook the title of “Triple-Double King.” After all, Bradley Beal basically handed it to him.

Ahead of Monday's showdown against the Atlanta Hawks, Beal has been ruled out due to a left hamstring strain. While the injury is not serious and he has been listed as day-to-day, he will remain sidelined for the game.

With that said, Russell Westbrook has been gifted the perfect opportunity to record his 182nd triple-double and become the league's leader in the all-time list.

To recall, Brodie recorded his 181st triple-double on Saturday with a 33-19-15 outing against the Indiana Pacers. It is also worth noting that Russ achieved such feat while Bradley Beal scored 50 points on top of five boards and one assist. Imagine what Westbrook can do with him leading the charge for the Wizards?

Sure enough, the Hawks are not easy opponents. They are fifth in the East with a 37-31 record, and they have Trae Young leading the offense and Clint Capela manning the paint. Simply put, Westbrook will have a tougher time than usual.

Of course, that's not to say he can't do it. The Wizards veteran guard already a triple-double machine, and it is more likely that he'll be able to do it given the situation.

The Wizards should probably ask State Farm Arena to prepare the confetti for when Westbrook reaches the milestone mark. A video tribute is likely ready anyway.
