Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal was gasping for air after an exhausting 125-124 marathon win in double-overtime against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night.

The marksman was interviewed by ESPN's Cassidy Hubbarth immediately after the end of regulation, barely able to gather his breath before giving a clean answer.

“Oh man
John (Wall) need to hurry up, first off,” said Beal jokingly after being asked about the Wizards' goals until the end of the season. “We gotta finish strong. We have a lot of guys that are capable at both ends of the floor. We gotta trust each other and get back to playing our style of basketball, make sure we're playing our best heading into the playoffs.”

Beal has been carrying the scoring load since Wall underwent arthroscopic surgery in his knee, keeping him out for six-to-eight weeks.

The 6-foot-5 sharpshooter has averaged 37.6 minutes per game since Wall has been gone, and become the No. 1 option on offense, as the Wizards have operated with Tomas Satoransky as the starter and Tim Frazier as the backup point guard through the last month and a half.

The Wizards are 5-5 in their last 10 games, very much like the fourth-place Cleveland Cavaliers, who are one spot above in the East.

Beal and company will have to do the most possible to snatch the fourth place in the East from the Cavs in order to garner a home court advantage for a potential first-round clash in the playoffs.
