The Washington Wizards seem to have been impressed by Ramon Sessions during his second 10-day contract as he is going to be finishing off the season with them.

According to Candace Buckner of Post Sports, the Wizards are signing Sessions for the rest of the season.

Hopefully this is his final home in his NBA career, as Sessions has played on eight teams in his 11 year career thus far. Sessions did play for Washington before as well as he was acquired by the Wizards by trade in 2015. Sessions started to fit into the system well as they most likely did not want to find another player to fit the 14-player roster minimum.

In his time in Washington so far, Sessions has averaged 18 minutes on the court with 7 points, and 3 assists per game. With his NBA career winding down, Sessions is becoming more of a pass-first player as he often has games where he finishes with more assists than points.

When Sessions played for Washington two years ago, he averaged 9 points and 4 assists. He was a clean shooter as he shot 46 percent from the field and 38.4 percent from behind the arc. At the moment, Sessions is shooting 33 percent from the field in the past 10 games.

Sessions becomes the Wizards’ third available guard, along with Tomas Satoransky who is now in the starting position. With Wall remaining on the sidelines this is going to add great depth to Washington as Sessions was the backup to Wall back when he was a Wizard.
