Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal is more than just a shooter.

Wednesday night at home against the Dallas Mavericks, Beal exploded to the basket and dunked all over Mavs big man Salah Mejri in the first quarter.

After the dunk, Beal let Mejri know he just got posterized in the nation's capital:

If the Wizards are going to make the playoffs, they will need more plays like this from Bradley Beal, who is having the best season of his NBA career this year now that he's the main option on offense with John Wall out.

Entering Wednesday, Beal was averaging 25.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game while shooting 47.7 percent from the field, 35.0 percent from beyond the arc and 82.7 percent from the free-throw line.

Washington is currently out of the playoff picture. If they want to make it, they have to defeat the Mavs on Wednesday. Dallas isn't really competing for the postseason.

Earlier in his career, Bradley Beal dealt with so many lower body injuries. It's really good to see him having a healthy year this season.

Now, the All-Star guard just needs more help from his teammates so the Wizards can go on a winning streak and climb up the Eastern Conference standings.
