The New York Yankees went all out at the MLB Trade Deadline, acquiring two left-handed bats in Anthony Rizzo and Joey Gallo. Both players were in the lineup on Friday against the Marlins and with the game scoreless in the sixth inning, Rizzo started off his Yankees career with a bang:

Talk about making a statement right from the get-go. The former Cubs slugger took that 1-0 offering to the second deck. An absolute moonshot. It was a sad ending for Rizzo after leaving Chicago for the Yankees. He spent almost 10 seasons on the North Side and was an instrumental part of their historic World Series title in 2016.
With Rizzo hitting free agency this winter though, he'll likely just be a rental for the Yankees. But it's no secret they need some serious offensive help, with their current core struggling to produce on a nightly basis. It will be interesting to see how Rizzo fares in the Bronx as well with that short porch in right field.
We could be seeing a lot more homers from the 31-year-old as the Yankees chase a Wild Card spot. Hopefully, Gallo can also do his part because New York did give up a decent amount of prospects in order to acquire the two power-hitting lefties.
