Although most of the big name free agents have already announced their decisions on where they’ll bring their talents next, there are still some guys available who may not be considered stars, but could turn out to be very important signings especially for contenders.

One of them is veteran forward Zach Randolph, who has drawn interest from a number of teams, including the Sacramento Kings. He had a meeting with them on Monday, but will reportedly not end up signing with the franchise, according to the Sacramento Bee’s Jason Jones.

Despite already being 35-years-old, Z-Bo still had another solid year for the Memphis Grizzlies this past season, averaging 14.1 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. He may not be the most athletic big man in the league today, but his veteran basketball IQ more than makes up for it, resulting in productive games night in and night out.

The next few days will be crucial for Randolph as he will continue meeting with other teams that are looking to add him to their fold. He is reportedly commanding a reasonable salary, which could help boost his stock even more.

At this point, one thing's that certain is that wherever he ends up, he can bring a lot of experience to the table and can also serve as a locker room leader.
