The Milwaukee Bucks blew a third quarter lead in Game 4 on Monday to lose 116-108 as the series is now tied 2-2. It was certainly not an ideal finish to a game where the Bucks struggled to get stops defensively down the stretch, with Al Horford and Jayson Tatum torching them in the final period.

While Giannis Antetokounmpo had a big night with 34 points, 18 rebounds, and five assists, he didn't receive much help. That's a huge problem for Mike Budenholzer's squad, especially since they're without Khris Middleton.

Here are 2 Bucks who are most to blame for the crushing loss.

2 Bucks most to blame for Game 4 loss to Celtics

Jrue Holiday

The thing that made the Bucks a championship team last season was their depth. Middleton played a huge part in that and once he got hurt in the first round, all eyes shifted to Jrue Holiday to step up and deliver alongside Giannis. Unfortunately, it's been the exact opposite. The veteran guard collected just 16 points in 40 minutes in Game 4, shooting a putrid 5 for 22 from the field and just 1 for 6 from downtown. In fact, in this series, Holiday is averaging 18.6 points, 6.4 assists, and 5.8 rebounds on 37% shooting from the field. Not ideal.

To put his struggles into perspective, just look at this stunning stat:

Holiday is missing far too many easy baskets at the hoop and can't drain a jumper to save his life. Boston is legit and Giannis can't do this alone. Even defensively, the Celtics offense was getting whatever they wanted, whether it was Tatum or Horford. The only way the Bucks are getting out of this second round is if Holiday starts to really flourish offensively. The numbers don't look awful on paper, but his efficiency is poor. Middleton isn't coming back anytime soon, which means it's up to Holiday to step up to the plate. He's always a stout defender but it comes down to his production on the opposite end of the floor.

Bobby Portis

Fan-favorite Bobby Portis played a key part in the Bucks' title run last season, proving to be a valuable big body down low. He really struggled on Monday though, scoring only four points and grabbing six rebounds in a mere 14 minutes of action. Due to Brook Lopez's standout night, Portis saw the least playing time of the postseason so far. He shot only 2 for 7 from the field and failed to make an impact.

Portis is the type of player who can make a difference for the Bucks. His energy and versatility on both ends of the court are huge. The Celtics have a very physical frontcourt and Portis must do his part in doing damage. Also, his ability to knock down threes is important for the Bucks.

FWIW, Portis was out on the court after the loss getting up shots and working on his game:

Bobby Portis is a gamer. He will bounce back in Game 5 because the Bucks need him to do so. Expect Budenholzer to use him a lot more on Wednesday. He and Holiday are two rotational pieces that have to deliver.
