The Seattle Seahawks play in a loaded NFC West division. Luckily for them, they have a stacked roster and will be competing for a playoff spot down the stretch. There was a rocky moment this offseason regarding Russell Wilson, but it seems all of that is in the past as the team looks forward to the new season.

Seattle 0nly made three selections in the draft as they've used a lot of their picks in trade negotiations. However, the front office was busy after the 2021 NFL Draft as they signed 13 undrafted free agents to the roster. Not all of them will make the team, but there are a few standouts amongst the Seahawks' rookie class.

With an already solid offense, it'll be tough for any of the prospects to earn any significant playing time outside of D'Wayne Eskridge who was drafted in the second round. However, there is another receiver who joined the team after the draft that has the potential to become a legitimate threat in the future. Furthermore, Seattle's defense needs as much help as they can get, and there is one undrafted free agent that could make an impact sooner, rather than later.

With that said, here are two hidden gems on the Seahawks roster.

Tamorrion Terry

The Florida State prospect had his draft stock decline after a rough go in the 2020 season. He started his collegiate career off to a hot start and had his best season in 2019. During Terry's sophomore campaign, he finished with 1,188 receiving yards and nine touchdowns, making him an essential piece of the Seminoles' passing game.

His numbers weren't all that impressive in 2021, but he only played in six games. At 6-4, Terry serves as a red-zone threat that could be used in certain packages. He has his work cut out for him though, as he's competing with nine other receivers for a roster spot. Terry has the talent to be a valuable target in this league, but he still needs time to develop. Keep a close tab on Tamorrion Terry, as there's a chance he earns a spot on the final roster and slowly progresses up the depth chart.

Jon Rhattigan

Jon Rhattigan played football while serving for the Army, but is a tough-as-nails linebacker that could make an impact right away in Seattle. He played well during his final year, totaling 78 tackles, nine for a loss, 1.5 sacks, and two interceptions. Due to the lack of depth in the linebacker position in Seattle, specifically on the outside, there is a fair chance Rhattigan makes the final roster this year.

He'll likely start his career playing on the special teams, but he could be the immediate backup Jordyn Brooks or Ben Burr-Kirven. Rhattigan isn't someone who gets after the quarterback particularly well, but he could serve as a decent run-stopper for this team. Seattle's defense was less than spectacular last year, which leaves room for Rhattigan to make an impact almost immediately.

Look for Rhattigan to get things going this summer and build some rapport with the coaching staff. He plays hard and could be a surprise find in Seattle. The Seahawks could use a hidden gem on the defense, as that is still a weak spot on the roster.
