The Miami Heat were swept by the Milwaukee Bucks and their season is now officially over.

After making an impressive run a year ago, the Heat were unable to recapture the magic that took them to the 2020 NBA Finals. The front office is looking forward to the offseason, however, they don't have any decent draft picks to make a splash in the NBA draft.

For that reason, the Heat could be a popular name in the trade market during the offseason. It's fair to say the trade for Victor Oladipo didn't work out. However, with rumors already swirling that he won't receive a big payday in the offseason, Miami could and should re-sign him for as cheap as possible.

Doing so allows the Heat to work with Oladipo and get him healthy and acclimated with Miami's scheme. Even if that does happen, the Heat should still be looking to make a couple of moves before the start of the 2021-22 season.

Here are two trades the Heat should make this offseason to better improve the roster.

Heat Trade:

Andre Iguodala and 2022 2nd-round pick for Terrence Ross

Andre Iguodala played more like a veteran leader than he did a major contributor for the Heat this year. After averaging just 4.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 63 games, Miami should highly consider removing him from the lineup for someone who will actually produce.

After trading away their star players, the Orlando Magic could be a potential trade partner for the Miami Heat. Terrence Ross has been an underrated player throughout his career and could be a fantastic acquisition for the Miami Heat. He only played 43 games this year but averaged 29.3 minutes, 15.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.

Ross is a pure scorer that can bounce between shooting guard and small forward. He's not the best defender, but he'd be a great sixth-man for this Heat team. Ross would serve as a great compliment to Jimmy Butler and could be a leader for the rotational guys in the lineup.

Re-sign and trade Duncan Robinson for Juan Hernangómez

This one might be considered a hot take, but could pay off for the Heat in the long run. Duncan Robinson is a great three-point shooter, but that's about it. The Heat have plenty of other players on the roster who can consistently shoot from deep, and Terrence Ross would serve as an inside-outside scorer in Robinson's place.

The Heat got bullied down low in their matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks and should consider looking for a player hungry to prove himself. Juan Hernangómez had a down year playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves this year, only averaging 7.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game as a role player.

Even so, Hernangómez has shown flashes that he can be a legitimate big man down low, whether he's playing power forward or center. In the 14 games he played for Minnesota in the 2019-20 season, Hernangómez averaged 12.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. He also shot 42% from the field, making him incredibly consistent during that stretch. Playing for a new team would be a breath of fresh air for Hernangómez, as he'd be joining a better Heat team. The five-year veteran would be a great fit for Miami, as he'd serve as a high-end rotational player in the paint.
