Tiger Woods will always be a player to watch every year in Augusta, and for former Masters champion Fred Couples, the 15-time majors champion is a man to watch this week at the 2020 Masters Tournament, per Todd Kelly of Golfweek.

“He loves the place. He can play there at any given time, it just depends on really how he feels and I can relate to that, but whereas when I don’t feel well, I can still slap it around, but when you’re the greatest player to ever play, it kind of wears on you a little bit. But he’ll get used to it and if he’s feeling healthy, he’ll be one of the 10 or 15 guys to beat.”

Tiger Woods’ rapid decline from being the undisputed greatest golfer on the plant to a struggling veteran with a bad back who couldn’t even make the cut in events consistently has long been a major discussion topic not just in the golf world, but in sports in general, thanks to his transcendental image as a global icon.

But the narrative changed a year ago when Woods pulled off arguably the best comeback in sports when he took home his fifth Green Jacket by topping the field at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta in Georgia. He won it by just a stroke over Dustin Johnson and Xander Schauffele.

Tiger Woods, however, has not been able to parlay that success into more wins in the succeeding tournaments he started in, though he later won at the 2019 ZOZO Championship. This season, Woods has only taken part in two tournaments. He missed the cut at the 2019 US Open then settled for a T72 in last October’s ZOZO Championship @ Sherwood.

Woods is priced just +3500 to win the 2020 Masters Tournament, according to William Hill sportsbook.
