The wide receiver position continues to see success as the second half of the season is upon us. It's time to continue our fantasy football series with a breakdown on who you should consider for the fantasy wide receiver position in a vital Fantasy Football Week 10.

This is a tricky week for the group of players added to this list. There are some elite receivers facing tough opponents in Week 10, although that doesn't tell the whole story. It's difficult to produce high numbers week in and week out as a receiver. There are some elite cornerbacks that can shut down receivers as well as defensive game plans to stop them. With all that being said, let's take a look at what receivers should start and sit for Week 10.

Fantasy Football Week 10 Start ‘Em

Keenan Allen – Los Angeles Chargers

Last week's performance against the Eagles is exactly why Keenan Allen should stay a WR2 at worst. He caught 12 passes on 13 targets for 104 yards. He painted a picture against the Eagles and proved his worth after a slow start to the season. Allen is seeing more drops than usual this season, but last Sunday showed that he still provides one of the best hands in the NFL. Justin Herbert is playing lights out and should have zero reasons not to find Allen all game long.

This week he faces a Minnesota Vikings defense ranked 27th against opposing receivers. Allen is in line for another huge game and should lead the Bolts in receptions once again. He could very well finish with above 10 receptions in back-to-back weeks.

Justin Jefferson – Minnesota Vikings

Justin Jefferson is an interesting name to keep an eye on for this week. Adam Thielen could also have been added to this list but I project Jefferson to get the bulk of the targets. Jefferson is as dynamic as it gets out of the receiver position. He can play outside as well as the slot and is a mismatch against most of the defenders in the NFL. The projections seem as if Jefferson won't play that great, but here is why that shouldn't be the case.

The Vikings face the Chargers who rank 2nd against opposing receivers. Those numbers are due largely because of starting cornerbacks Michael Davis and Asante Samuel Jr. Both of them missed the game against the Eagles due to injuries and it is unclear if they will suit up for Week 10. If they indeed miss the game then the Vikings' passing game should dominate. Expect Jefferson to put up big-time numbers.

Marquise Brown – Baltimore Ravens

Hollywood Brown is starting to perform at a consistent level at this point in his career. Lamar Jackson is targeting him a ton as of late and that shouldn't stop anytime soon. Over Brown's last two games, he's caught 14 passes off of 26 targets resulting in just under 200 yards. If Brown continues this run of success then he could put himself in conversation as one of the top receivers in the league.

Brown faces the Miami Dolphins who are ranked 30th against opposing receivers. This is another favorable matchup for Brown and he should be a WR2 or flex this week.

Fantasy Wide Receivers Sit ‘Em

DeAndre Hopkins – Arizona Cardinals

A majority of fantasy football owners are going to start Hopkins if he plays. I'm here to tell you that might not be the best idea at this point in the season. He missed last week's game against the San Francisco 49ers with a hamstring injury. He is considered day-to-day but does have a chance to play against the Carolina Panthers. The Cardinals just proved they can win a game without Kyler Murray and Hopkins, so there is no rush to have him come back any faster than needed.

The Panthers rank 5th against opposing receivers and that is not a good matchup. Stephon Gilmore is back with a vengeance and has two interceptions in as many games with Carolina. He would more than likely follow Hopkins all game long and because of his hamstring injury, it isn't a great matchup. If both were healthy, this would be one of those matchups you get excited for. It's a safer bet to avoid starting Hopkins this week unless you need to.

Corey Davis – New York Jets

Corey Davis is returning to action after missing the last two games with a hip injury. Davis returning will help the Jets offensively without question, but in terms of fantasy football, he may not produce much this week. He's had a solid season so far but will face the top-ranked defense in football.

The Bills rank 1st against opposing receivers and do not seem to be slowing down. The Jets are expecting Mike White to return to quarterback. The Bills are coming off of a horrible performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday and will be looking to dominate the Jets. Davis should not be in your starting lineups this week unless your starters are on a bye.

Julio Jones – Tennessee Titans

The first season in Tennesee for Julio Jones is not what we all expected it to be. He played like his usual self against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2, but since then is struggling to earn targets. Jones missed three games to a hamstring injury this season but is expected to be fully recovered. Jones only saw a combined eight targets come his way in his last two games.

The Titans are facing the New Orleans Saints this week who do rank 29th against opposing receivers. This could be the game where Jones breaks out but it isn't likely. Ryan Tannehill is struggling to find success right now and that could be a deciding factor for Jones. Tannehill will need to step up and consistently find his duo between Jones and A.J. Brown. Until that happens, I would once again avoid Jones in your Fantasy Football Week 10 lineups.
