Europe's most prized competition is back in business. On Thursday, the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League group stage draw took place in Monaco, with Group F being deemed the Group of Death as Newcastle, Dortmund, PSG, and AC Milan will all face one another. Talk about a tough draw for the Magpies, who make their long-awaited return to the tournament.

Below, find the full groups:

Group A is headlined by Manchester United and Bayern Munich, who should have no issues progressing through to the Round of 16. However, Galatasaray is no pushover either, with no shortage of talent including former Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha and ex-Napoli man Dries Mertens.

Arsenal meanwhile in Group B will be licking their chops. Making their first appearance in the Champions League in six years, the Gunners have Lens, PSV, and Sevilla to deal with. The Spanish side are the giants of Europa but tend to struggle in the UCL. Mikel Arteta's squad has every chance of finishing top of this pod.

Group C should see Napoli and record winners Real Madrid go through with relative ease considering the lack of European experience for both Braga and Union Berlin. Over in Group D, it's honestly a toss-up, although Inter will be considered the favorite.

Now, Group F is the real attention grabber in the Champions League group stage draw. As previously mentioned, Dortmund, PSG, Newcastle, and AC Milan will line up alongside each other, with no clear favorite to secure top spot. It will be awesome to see the Magpies playing against some of the biggest clubs in the world, though.

Reigning champions Manchester City were handed another simple group with Leipzig, Red Star Belgrade, and Young Boys. Expect three wins out of three there. And lastly, Barcelona should have zero issues making the knockout rounds this season, with Antwerp, Porto, and Shakhtar in their group.

Matchday one begins on September 19th.
