After coming within just one score of capping off a historic season for the Cincinnati Bengals, Joe Burrow fell short in the championship round. Despite posting big numbers and giving the team a steady lead late in the game, Burrow still found himself on the run all night long. All in all, Burrow was sacked seven times and was being hurried for a big portion of the game against the power pass rush of the Los Angeles Rams.
The biggest issue for the Bengals during their epic playoff run has been their inability to give Burrow consistently good protection.
Even though they beat the Tennessee Titans, they still gave up 10 sacks and it was the resilience and toughness of their quarterback that led to an upset win. However, this absolutely cannot continue if they want to return to the Super Bowl next year and bring home the title. Not to mention Burrow injured his knee at a pivotal moment during Super Bowl 56 that had people worried. So with all this going for the Bengals, let's now discuss the three players Cincinnati should target during the 2022 NFL offseason to fix their weak offensive line.
Cincinnati Bengals 2022 NFL Offseason Moves
3. Terron Armstead
With Ryan Ramczyk having become the highest paid right tackle in NFL history ahead of the 2021 campaign, this may open the possibility of Terron Armstead testing the free agent market and taking his talents elsewhere. Widely considered one of the best tackles in football since being drafted in 2013, Armstead's elite pass-blocking would be a welcome addition on the Bengals and be vital to their offensive success.
Not to mention he also excels as a run-blocker and would be able to give Joe Burrow the protection he desperately needs all season long. If Armstead does end up testing the free agent market, then this is a player the Bengals should immediately reach out to with an offer. His experience and diverse skillset would be a huge benefit for Cincinnati.

This would be the ultimate steal for the Bengals if they're able to pull this off, especially considering that Duane Brown is an elite offensive tackle that's still able to play a high level.
Being able to snag Brown away from the Seattle Seahawks would be huge for them and give Burrow a star tackle on their O-line that would be able to buy him more time in the pocket. Plus with Brown entering NFL free agency and seeking an extension, this could be Cincinnati's cue to steal him from the Seahawks and vastly improve the team they're putting around Burrow.
1. Morgan Moses
Coming off another solid season playing with the New York Jets, Morgan Moses has definitely upped his value as reliable offensive tackle. With a season grading above 65.0 as both a run and pass blocker, Moses is exactly the kind of player the Bengals need to add to their offense.
Signing Moses to a multi-year deal would allow them to keep Burrow safe over the next few years while they continue their league-wide rise to dominance.
