Following an arduous road win over the Phoenix Suns in Game 5 of the 2021 NBA Finals, the Milwaukee Bucks are now a win away from their first championship in 50 years.

The Bucks will have the golden opportunity of clinching an NBA title win on Tuesday, but as has been shown over the years, it is far from an effortless task in winning close-out games at home.

More so, the resilient Suns will surely go all out to steal a road win and force a Game 7.

Nonetheless, the Bucks can not waste this massive chance of winning a championship in front of their home fans, and it would take these three things for the team to do just that.

Jrue Holiday needs to deliver an encore Game 5 performance

Considering that it was a decisive road game for the Bucks in the NBA Finals, Jrue Holiday had arguably the most impressive performance of his career in his team's Game 5 win over the Suns. From the key shots in the fourth quarter to the strip-steal off Devin Booker in the final minute, Holiday was simply a menace to the Suns on both sides of the floor.

If the Bucks aim to win the title on Tuesday, Holiday must orchestrate a fine two-way performance for the team.

Holiday's 3-point shooting in Game 6 will surely be an indicator of how well he ends up performing. Over the first four games of these Finals, he shot 6-22 (27.3 percent) from beyond the arc. He did shine from 3-point land in Game 5 as he shot a formidable 3-6 (50.0 percent).

The Bucks will also need to rely on Holiday's relentless on-ball defense to help contain Booker's perimeter shooting. Holiday had potent success when defending against Booker in Game 5, as he held him to 42.9 percent shooting and forced the notable late-game turnover.

Holiday has had his highs and lows over the course of these playoffs, but a standout performance in Game 6 could etch him a place in Bucks franchise history.

One key role player must step up to the occasion

There always seems to be that one role player who simply steps up in NBA Finals-clinching wins.

Last year, Rajon Rondo surprised many when he scored 19 points and knocked down a trio of 3-pointers in the Lakers' Finals-clinching win over the Miami Heat in Game 6. In the 2019 NBA Finals, many well remember Fred VanVleet's key 22-point outing as the Raptors notched their first championship win following a Game 6 road win against the Golden State Warriors.

For the Bucks to eliminate the Suns on Tuesday, they will need someone else to help out Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday on the offensive end.

That one player could end up being Bucks guard Pat Connaughton, who has been one streaky shooter over these playoffs.

Overall, Connaughton has had continual success as a 3-point shooter over the NBA Finals; he is shooting 50.8 percent from beyond the arc.

Connaughton's reliable shooting could be a game-changer for the Bucks in Game 6. He has what it takes to reel off multiple 3-point shots in a row, which could be a catalyst in Bucks' potential scoring runs.

Look for the Bucks guard to once again have a potent day from 3-point land in Game 6, especially in catch-and-shoot situations.

Bucks must continue to take full advantage of second-chance opportunities

The theme with the Bucks' last two wins in the NBA Finals has been their ability to make the most out of second-chance opportunities.

In their Game 4 win over the Suns, the Bucks had the edge in offensive rebounds (17-5), second-chance points (19-7) and fast-break points (15-0). In their massive Game 5 road win, the Bucks were quite close to blowing a fourth quarter double-digit lead, but they prevailed, with one of the reasons being their key offensive rebounds in the late stages of the game.

If the Bucks aspire to celebrate an NBA championship win come Tuesday night, they will again need to put forth a grand effort to win the second-chance duels against the Suns.

This would not come down to certain adjustments or scheme changes by the Bucks' coaching staff. It would simply revolve around the Bucks' effort on both ends of the floor.

As was pointed out, the Bucks closed out Game 5 with four offensive rebounds over the final two minutes of the game, which helped prevent the Suns from going the other way with what could have been crucial fast break opportunities.

This upcoming Game 6 will be the biggest game for essentially every Bucks player on the roster. The Bucks surely can not let slip such a golden opportunity to hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy in front of their home fans.
