The future of five-time Ballon d'Or winner and Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo is pretty much unknown up to this point. After scoring 36 goals in all competitions for Juventus last term, the team still had a horrible season. Juventus barely clinched a Champions League spot after finishing in fourth place in Serie A. Juve also got knocked out by underdogs FC Porto during their UEFA Champions League showdown.

In the summer of 2018, The Old Lady bought Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid for a reported fee of £105 million. Ronaldo was expected to help them end their Champions League drought. So far, they have failed to advance past the CL quarter-finals since Ronaldo's arrival. A lot of factors may have played into why Juventus always fall short of the competition. An incapable supporting cast for the Portuguese star is the main reason why.

As we all know how competitive Cristiano Ronaldo is, the guy hates losing and not getting the results that he wants. He dreamt of lifting the UCL trophy for Juve. Ronaldo is approaching his 37th birthday next season and is not showing signs of slowing down, but even a freak of nature like CR7 cannot play at a high level forever, as father time will always be undefeated. Maybe a fresh start is all he needs for a last shot at the UCL trophy.

Sky Sports' Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Ronaldo is in no mood to initiate a new contract and that Juventus are waiting for Cristiano's decision whether to leave the club this summer or after his deal expires.

With a lot of clubs interested in signing the legendary forward, these are the possible transfer destinations for Cristiano Ronaldo:

Manchester City

Manchester City reached the CL final as the favorites to win but eventually lost to Chelsea in Porto. The Premier League giants let star striker Sergio Aguero walk on a free transfer to Barcelona recently, and who else would be an ideal replacement but Cristiano Ronaldo himself. Ronaldo signing for City would give him a chance to dominate the Premier League again. We would also have the chance to see Pep Guardiola coach Cristiano after having coached Lionel Messi in Barcelona.

Who knows, maybe joining forces together can end the Champions League drought of Manchester City.

Paris Saint-Germain

The French giants and Cristiano Ronaldo share the same goal, winning Europe's most prized competition. PSG came up short as they lost to Bayern Munich in the CL final last year. PSG Superstar Neymar also expressed his desire to play with the Portuguese legend in an interview with GQ France.

Based on the previous seasons, PSG is in a better fighting position to fight for the title than Juventus. They also have the necessary pieces to suit Ronaldo's playstyle. Cr7 would also want to experience the French league and add a trophy to his cabinet as he conquered England, Spain, and Italy.

Maybe signing the UCL top scorer of all time will fulfill their destiny of winning the much desired and coveted trophy.

Manchester United

Signing for Manchester United will blow up the football world, as Man U was where Ronaldo made himself known to the world. This is the club that helped him develop to be player he is today. The last time the red devils won the Champions League was when they had Ronaldo in 2008. Besides the nostalgia, Manchester United has a ton of young pieces that can help Ronaldo compete for a UCL title.

For a while now, Cristiano Ronaldo's name has been attached to his former club. According to Mirror, Ole Gunnar Solskajer has frequently been in touch with CR7. A swap deal would likely happen involving Paul Pogba as United already spent a lot of cash in signing Jadon Sancho.

Real Madrid

The Madrid-Ronaldo breakup should not have happened. After the split, they both struggled in the Champions League after winning 4 UEFA titles together including winning 3 straight UCL trophies. Ronaldo will forever be a part of Real Madrid history as he is spent his peak years in Madrid and is the club's top scorer of all time with 450 goals. Coming back to the Spanish capital, the legend would be a huge boost for the club as they often struggled with their offensive firepower. No one has replicated what Ronaldo has done scoring-wise for Madrid ever since he left.

Where do you think Cristiano Ronaldo will end up signing for this summer?
