Christian McCaffrey (calf), Deebo Samuel (ankle), Elijah Mitchell (groin) and Jimmy Garoppolo (foot) all did not practice on Wednesday for the San Francisco 49ers, per Matt Barrows. However, head coach Kyle Shanahan said that he expects all four players to be available for the 49ers-Eagles NFC Championship Game.

Brock Purdy is the 49ers' starting quarterback. Garoppolo would only play in the event that something happened to Purdy. But McCaffrey, Samuel, and Mitchell are all key pieces to the puzzle for San Francisco. Their injuries will certainly be worth monitoring as the week goes on.

McCaffrey himself recently shot down injury concerns in regards to his calf.

“I was fighting but made it through, made it through great. [My calf] is nothing bad. All good,” the 49ers' RB said, via Cam Inman.

Defeating the Eagles in Philadelphia will certainly be a challenge. But the 49ers haven't lost a game since October 23, when they were taken down by the Kansas City Chiefs. The Niners went on to defeat the Los Angeles Rams in convincing fashion the following week and haven't looked back since.

The 49ers are anchored by their top-tier defensive unit, which ranked first in points limited per game with a mark of 16.3. But the offense has also performed well for San Francisco. Purdy has impressed since taking over QB1 duties, while McCaffrey, Samuel, and Mitchell have all contributed in pivotal fashion as well.

We will continue to monitor updates on each of their statuses ahead of the NFC Championship Game on Sunday.
