San Francisco 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel suffered a broken foot, a setback for the player who is one of the team's most potent offensive tools. In an Instagram post, Samuel sent out a heartfelt and courageous message.

For the 24-year-old, the setback is just a part of life. And he's determined to get back soon. Samuel believes that his supporting cast of 49ers teammates and loved ones will help him get through the injury.

“Life is full of disappointments, failures and setbacks. None of those things can permanently stop you. Within yourself you got the power to overcome anything that life throws at you, the most powerful thing besides God to me is a made up mind and the mission I’m on as well as my teammates it’s no way a setback, adversity or anything else can detach me from the goal I’ve set. I’m surrounded by people who support me in the ways that matter the most. No person, situation, or circumstance can define who you are. I’m coming back harder than everrrr if you don’t believe me look at every adversity I faced then compare the bounce backs and you’ll get the picture. See you in 10 weeks 😈”

Reports reveal that Samuel suffered a Jones fracture on Tuesday during a throwing session with 49ers teammates in Nashville, Tennessee. He's expected to be out for 12-14 weeks. But interestingly, Samuel proclaimed that he'll be back in 10 weeks.

These are reassuring words from the wideout. Hopefully, his words translate into reality as the 49ers are looking to contend once again for the title this season.
