The San Francisco 49ers didn't have Richard Sherman present on the field during their devastating loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 15. After missing a week of action, Sherman expects himself to be ready to return versus the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday.

“Yeah, I'll be out there on Saturday,” Sherman said to ESPN. “There's no question. There's nothing I need to show them. I have gone through practice. Today, we had a full speed practice with no tweaks, nothing to be concerned about on my end, so we feel comfortable about that, they feel comfortable about it.”

Two weeks ago, Sherman strained his hamstring as the 49ers were able to defeat the New Orleans Saints in Week 14. Luckily for San Francisco, the veteran cornerback seems to be nearing a full recovery as he returns to practice this week.

Even while missing one game, Sherman has put together a stellar season in his second year with the 49ers. The former Seattle Seahawks cornerback has combined for 53 tackles, 11 pass deflections, and three interceptions.

As a result of his numbers, Sherman was announced as a Pro-Bowler for the fifth time in his career (first with the Niners). His 2019 campaign is even more impressive when you consider that he tore his Achilles just two years ago.

Saturday's game against the Rams is an important one for San Francisco as they attempt to retain the No. 1 spot in the NFC West. When the 49ers come out of the tunnel at Levi Stadium on Saturday, Sherman is trending towards being in uniform.
