All throughout the entirety of the 2020-21 NBA season, Steph Curry lit up the scoreboard and set several scoring records on his way to capturing the league scoring title. With the Warriors already off to a hot start and having won almost every game they've played, it seems like Steph could be on his way to back-to-back scoring titles. Especially after he posted 45 points during a close win against the Los Angeles Clippers last week.

With all these stars set to put on a show all season long, it's hard to overlook other candidates for this year's NBA scoring title. So without further interruption, let's take a look at the five players who have the best chance to overtake Steph Curry as this season's scoring champion.

3. Kevin Durant

With his athleticism, agility, and grit, Morant has made his mark as arguably the most athletic combo guard in the league. As Morant continues his rise to stardom, it wouldn't be the least bit surprising to see him hoisting the trophy and coming away as this year's NBA scoring champion.
