Marvel just dropped its latest trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder and, without a doubt, it looks like another winner down the line. With Taika Waititi directing, Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman leading the cast, and Christian Bale playing the villain, there's really no reason for this film to fail when it comes out in July.

And just like every trailer released by Marvel, fans everywhere are treated to a wide array of hidden details filled within its short runtime. We take a deep dive below at some of the best easter eggs from Thor: Love and Thunder's first teaser.

Thor's classic costume

For the longest time, there was this belief that what Marvel characters wore from the comics could never translate well on the screen. But if recent Phase 4 projects have shown, it can still be done and not take anything away from the story itself. This trend can be clearly seen when the Scarlett Witch donned a classic version of her costume on WandaVision and the old Loki wore something similar to his early appearances in the comics.

Thor: Love and Thunder repeats this trend in the best way possible. As the trailer starts, a young Thor can be seen running with what seems to be a classic take of his costume based on what he wore in the comics. It has the winged helmet, metal discs across the abdomen, bright blue leggings, and strapped boots, which when put together, create a nostalgic look for the God of Thunder on the screen.

The Asgardians of the Galaxy

The ending of Avengers: Endgame saw Thor going away with the Guardians of the Galaxy to explore the galaxy. In his fourth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, that plot thread is continued here and it seems the God of Thunder is leaving the group to journey on his own further.

But before he does, Chris Pratt's Star-Lord tells Thor to look into the eyes of the people he loves if he ever feels lost. The following shot then gives a good view of the current Guardians team, which consists of Drax, Nebula, Mantis, Rocket, and Groot. Of course, the absence of Gamora here could subtly lead to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 sometime down the line.

Korg and Ravager Thor

Without a doubt, Korg was one of the best things about Thor: Ragnarok as Waititi's comedic portrayal of the rock-based alien has become a favorite among fans.

This time around, Korg is sporting new threads as he stands next to Ravager Thor in one of the trailer's most notable scenes. Along with his appearance, it should also be noted that the empty space beside Thor can be entirely different once the film comes out. Marvel has a history of editing out certain characters from their trailers to keep the film's more important plotlines a secret.

King Valkyrie and New Asgard

Along with Korg, the inclusion of Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie was one of the reasons why Ragnarok was such a success. Of course, the ending of Endgame will continue into Love and Thunder, as evidenced by the film's first trailer.

In it, we see King Valkyrie, as Thompson's character is being promoted in merchandise, wearing a suit and listening to a group of non-Asgardians. It should be remembered that Valkyrie is among the characters in the MCU that are open with their gender preference, hence the title of King. Plus, the same scene also shows Miek fitted in a suit, much to the delight of everyone.

Zeus and Olympus

As this Thor trailer has shown, there's going to be a new pantheon of gods appearing in it. We've had one featuring Odin and the Norse gods, Moon Knight has given us our first experience with the Egyptian pantheon, while Black Panther has one with Bast in it. This time around, we're getting the Olympians, headed no other by Russell Crowe's Zeus.

While Crowe's profile wasn't shown in the trailer, the lightning bolt in his hand and the majestic sceneries of what seems to be his kingdom all point out to the said Greek god and his abode in Olympus. While details are still scarce at this point in time, the Thor trailer has shown that the god of thunder will pass through this location during the course of the film.

The return of Jane Foster and Mjolnir

The final shot is perhaps the best of them with Natalie Portman finally donning a new costume for Love and Thunder.

In it, we see a reforged Mjolnir flying and returning to the hand of Portman's Thor. We see her wearing a version of the god of thunder's costume, complete with the winged helmet and red cape. The trailer ends with a bewildered Hemsworth wondering why her former flame is now wielding his hammer.

Portman's look, and her character in the film, are based on an arc Jane Foster had in the comics. A few years ago, she found herself worthy of Mjolnir while battling Cancer. During the course of several years, Foster became the de factor Thor in the comics. Now, it seems that the MCU is following this lead.

While there are a lot of other minor details, these six are the biggest one so far. Expect a barrage of hidden trivia and Easter eggs coming your way via future trailers in the lead up of Thor: Love and Thunder's release on July 8.
