Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers have been playing top-notch football over the last few weeks and are currently 7-1 on the year. This week, however, the Packers will have another big-time matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

While the Chargers may not be one of the NFL's elite this season like many expected, they are still a dangerous matchup. Philip Rivers is one of the league's top quarterbacks and Melvin Gordon is slowly working his way back into the offense. Add in Keenan Allen and the Chargers are going to give the Packers all they can handle.

On the other side of the football, the Packers have to feel good about Rodgers going up against the L.A. defense. Rodgers has thrust his way into the MVP conversation and has shown no signs of slowing down.

All of that being said, let's dive in and take a look at three bold predictions for Rodgers this week.

3. He Only Gets Sacked One Time

Green Bay's offensive line has done a much better job this season than they have in years past. Part of that has to do with the Matt LaFleur offense and getting the ball out quicker. It also has to do with Rodgers feeling healthy and being able to maneuver inside and outside of the pocket.

Los Angeles has a decent pass rush, especially with Joey Bosa on the field. Despite that fact, Rodgers is only going to get sacked one time in this week's game.

2. Aaron Rodgers Racks Up Another 325 Yards, Three Touchdowns

Rodgers has had back-to-back massive performances against the Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs. For the third straight week, the Packers will face off against an AFC West opponent. The Packers are going to see their superstar quarterback step up with another huge performance.

LaFleur and Rodgers are finally on the same page and they are taking some shots down the field as well. Even without star wide receiver Davante Adams, who could return this week, the Packers have been improving. That will be the case this week once again, especially if Adams returns to the field.

1. Green Bay Improves To 8-1 Under Aaron Rodgers

Finally, the Packers are going to come away with another victory this week. It isn't going to be an easy win, but they will get the job done when everything is said and done. Green Bay is the better team on paper and they will be the better team on the field as well.

Rodgers is going to put up big numbers and the Packers' defense will make enough plays. Los Angeles will put up a fight late into the game, but their defense won't be able to stop the Green Bay offense. Once again, Green Bay will hear the media talking about Super Bowl potential after a big win.
