After teasing a major announcement about All Out 2022 on social media all week, Tony Khan made it official midway through this week's edition of Dynamite: AEW is returning to the Now Arena in Chicago for their end-of-summer Pay-Per-View extravaganza.

Now, for fans out of the know, the Now Arena holds a particularly important place in both the history of AEW and independent wrestling in general, as it was the location of All In, the wrestling show co-promoted by Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling that laid the groundwork for the promotion Tony Khan eventually started with Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, and The Young Bucks. Since then, the venue has held multiple other AEW events, most notably the inaugural All Out show that saw Chris Jericho crowned the promotion's first ever champion, the Thanksgiving special episode of AEW Dynamite that saw Chris Jericho throw a “Thanksgiving thank you Celebrashon for La Champion,” and the most recent edition of All Out back in September of 2021 that saw the debuts of Minoru Suzuki, Adam Cole, Ruby Soho, and Bryan Danielson.

The relationship between AEW and Now, which is the home arena of the G-League's Windy City Bulls, is so strong that the Arena has even hung up a banner to celebrate All In, which now holds particular weight since Tony Khan owns the ROH Tape library.

And now the arena can count All Out 2022 as the next chapter in their partnership, as they will be hosting an episode of Dynamite, an episode of Rampage, and the big Pay-Per-View on August 31st, September 2nd, and September 4th but hey, better get your tickets soon, as the venue only has a capacity of just over 10,000.
