When it was announced that Orange Cassidy was going to wrestle Wardlow on the first night of AEW‘s Fyter Fest, it raised a few eyebrows across the internet.

Both men were coming off of impressive showings in their more recent contests, including big-time bouts on Pay-Per-View, and the prospects of potentially slowing one of their runs even a tad felt risky, to say the least.

The Best Friend's solution? Cheat.

Detailed in their pre-match video package, Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta described their intentions to help OC chop Wardlow down and pair his new wardrobe, song, and attire, with a shiny new belt to keep those pockets in the right spot. Chuckie T's solution? Throw a freakin' chainsaw into the ring to quite literally chop Wardlow down.

That's certainly one way to win a wrestling match, though it may ultimately come with a lengthy prison sentence alongside the TNT Championship.

Now granted, despite taking part in a match absolutely loaded with outside interference, including a spot where Danhausen was fished out from under the ring by the “Wardog” and ultimately decided against cursing him before an OC Orange Punch could do it for him, this bout actually served its purpose well; Wardlow got the win, Orange Cassidy's shine remained unvarnished thanks to his typically crafty array of counters, and in the end, the two performers bumped fists in a show of respect, as both are babyface heroes who may ultimately end up in a ring together for one reason or another before everything is said and done.

Really, the only loser of this match was Bryce Remsberg, who has lost a lifetime friend in Chuck Taylor.
