Yet another classic Air Jordan sneaker will be coming back in time for the summer months as Nike and Jordan Brand continue their roll-out of this season's releases. After seeing successful drops around classic and reimagined colorways of the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 1, the Air Jordan 4 will return in a re-vamped colorway reminiscent of some past iterations. Michael Jordan's fourth signature sneaker first released in 1989 in the classic Black/Red, or “Bred” colorway, which has seen several retro releases over the last decade. The Jordan 4 is one of the most popular sneakers in the numbered Jordan line for its low-top design and wearability in the streets, making these a favorite amongst sneakerheads. This all new “Oxidized Green” colorway takes a fresh turn with updated pops of color for a vintage feel.

Air Jordan 4 “Oxidized Green”

At first glance, sneakerheads may compare these to the previously released Nike SB x Air Jordan 4, which received a ton of hype, or the Air Jordan 4 “Metallic Green” released in 2020, now fetching upwards of $500 on the resale market. These new 4s sports a similar white base and feature a new oxidized green colorway that Jordan Brand has been using for some other silhouettes as well.

The shoes will feature an all-white leather upper with white extending through the tongue, laces, wings, heel tab, and midsole. Oxidized Green is seen throughout the midsole, sockliner, eyestays, mesh underlay, and Jordan Jumpans on the tongue and heel. The lower midsole seems to feature a hit of Sail and the outsole is finished in Neutral Grey. This is yet another clean release from Jordan Brand and this colorway will be perfect for the summer months and into the fall season as well.

The Air Jordan 4 “Oxidized Green” is set to release on July 13, 2024 and has been confirmed to come in full family sizing. The standard price tag will be $210, commonplace for a retro Jordan releasing in today's age. The shoes will see a drop on Nike SNKRS app and will be carried by select Nike and Jordan Brand retailers, so be sure to check your local shops for a pair.
