Nate Robinson, who has been playing in Ice Cube's basketball league, would like to return to the NBA. Amar'e Stoudemire, who was last seen (at least by many) punching some emergency glass in New York, also apparently wants back in the league.

And this, my friends, resulted in a rather funny maneuver by Nate Robinson.

Let it be Camp Crystal Lake clear: The above tweet can totally be an out of context joke by the tweeter. Know that, please.

Anyway, Amar'e Stoudemire is also in that league ran by Ice Cube. Basically, Ice Cube is winning the game of basketball at the moment.

Then again, for those who prefer (mostly) non-NBA guys trotting about the hardwood for money, The Basketball Tournament is underway, though the games are not yet televised.

Mirin Fader recently wrote an absolutely brilliant feature on Nate Robinson for Bleacher Report. All jokes aside, you should read that wonderfully written piece to get a better look at the former NBA player, as he's been battling some demons you unlikely know about.

There's plenty of great passages from it, but this early one has turned out to be a favorite from those on Twitter:

“It’s like Spider-Man, that Venom. I never wanted that Venom outfit to just consume me,” he says. “I wanted to be Spider-Man. I wanted to be positive. I never wanted that dark side to come out because I know what that dark side could do.”

Do you guys think either of these two guys will make it back to the NBA?
