Last night, the Golden State Warriors had a chance to pitch to Kevin Durant, as part of the biggest free agent story since LeBron’s decision to return to Cleveland. Among other suitors, the Warriors met with Durant to sell the idea of playing in the bay area, joining a team with a record breaking 73-9 season.

Reports have suggested that head coach Steve Kerr, Warriors back office, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and last year’s Finals MVP Andre Igoudala were in attendance to convince Durant to help create the ‘super death line-up.' Igoudala may have suggested in the most vague way possible that this was not the case.

This cryptic tweet could mean many things. “Nah b” itself is said to be short for “nah bro” and could be perceived as a dismissive comment. Only Igoudala himself knows if the tweet is telling the world that he was not in the meeting, dismissing the idea of Durant joining the Warriors (taking some of his minutes) or simply a completely unrelated tweet.

One thing the tweet definitely tells the basketball world is that fans and writers such as myself will literally read into anything that a player says; even when it’s one word and an accompanying letter.
