Anthony Davis has started this season on fire. In four games so far for the New Orleans Pelicans, the 23 year old has been averaging 37.0 points, 13.2 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game.

But despite his incredible numbers, the team has yet to win a game and currently sits at 0-4, including three losses at home.

When asked how he feels about the Pelicans' standing and how last season's injury has affected him, Davis had this to say, per Justin Verrier of ESPN:

“Definitely frustrating. We can't get a win. It's frustrating.”

“I'm not worried about last year. I'm focused on this year, trying to get a win. But it's frustrating. Whatever we need to do, we need to do it fast.”

Even head coach Alvin Gentry admitted to feeling the same way as his starting power forward. He also knows that it's only a matter of finding out how to solve their problem of turning the ball over too many times during games.

“I'm frustrated, but I've got to find a solution. I can't be frustrated to the point of where I throw up my hands and not anything's going on. It's my job. That's why they hired me here. I've got to find a solution to our problems. I've got to find a solution to why we're turning the ball over. I've got to find a solution as to why we can't go into the game with a defensive plan and stick to it. It's very frustrating, yeah. But there have got to be solutions.”

If the Pelicans plan to turn around their bad start to their season, they have to act fast and change their ways as soon as possible before they are stuck in a deep hole at the bottom of the standings.

Aside from the turnovers, another problem they are facing is the lack of production from their bench. In their game on Tuesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks, the team scored 113 points, but only 19 came from non-starters.

The good news for the New Orleans faithful is they have an experienced coach and a competitive lineup. If Gentry and company find the solution they are looking for, it may translate to some wins and finally stir the ship back to the right direction.
