Despite having a 1-9 record to start their season, the New Orleans Pelicans have been getting incredible performances from their All-Star forward, Anthony Davis.
The 23-year-old Kentucky product has been nothing but spectacular for his team so far this campaign, with averages of 31.3 points, 10.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 3.0 blocks per game.
With these numbers, he has made the record books by becoming just the 10th player in NBA history to total at least 300 points and 100 rebounds in his team's first 10 games of the season, and has joined an elite company with this record.

Davis isn't showing any signs of slowing down as his team needs him to play at the highest level night in and night out. It's just a matter of how much help he'll receive from his teammates in order for them to string some wins together.
If he continues to produce these numbers, it won't be surprising if he'll break more records as the campaign progresses. He's also on pace to be included in the MVP conversation after the regular season. But if he wants to win the award, his team needs to start winning soon to avoid being in too deep of a hole.
