The Arizona Cardinals have looked stellar so far and they should continue that streak against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Considering they play in a closely contested NFC West division, Arizona needs every win they can get. It's time to continue our NFL predictions series with a Cardinals Week 3 prediction.

They shut down the Tennessee Titans in Week 1 but struggled against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2. This is a game where the Cardinals' defense can easily bounce back and prove they have a top unit. Their front seven is the real deal and we should be seeing that in this matchup.

The Jaguars don't have the best defense by any means, so Arizona could be in for a field day. Look for the Cardinals' backfield to turn up the heat while DeAndre Hopkins destroys the Jaguars through the air. Additionally, Kyler Murray has been outstanding so far. We should see another big performance from Arizona's star quarterback. With that said, here are four bold Cardinals Week 3 predictions as they play the Jaguars.

Cardinals Week 3 Predictions

4. Cardinals defense shuts down the Jaguars

Urban Meyer seems to refuse to run the ball with James Robinson. For that reason, life has been difficult for the rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Arizona has a stout front seven that is going to pressure Lawrence as often as possible. We could witness a complete shutout on Sunday as the Cardinals plan to pressure Lawrence throughout the entire game.

3. Chase Edmonds and James Conner combine for 150+ rushing yards and 2 touchdowns

The running back duo has given the Cardinals exactly what they've needed in the running game. Chase Edmonds is the first option and helps tremendously on pass plays. Meanwhile, James Conner looks like his old self, providing Arizona with consistent short yardage gains. The Jaguars' defense has been atrocious, to say the least. Look for Edmonds and Conner to take over this game, especially in the second half.

2. DeAndre Hopkins torches the Jaguars for 125+ receiving yards

DeAndre Hopkins is one of the best wide receivers in the league and the Jaguars have no one who can challenge him. The Cardinals are bound to air it out like they typically do. Hopkins is in line to put on a massive performance on Sunday. Kyler Murray is likely to target his favorite receiver often and give the Cardinals a big lead from the get-go.

1. Kyler Murray shines, furthering his case to win the MVP

Arizona's offense has been electric and Kyler Murray has been the certified electrician (did that sound cool?). Anyway, this offense is thriving right now with Murray absolutely balling out. He's looked unstoppable in the first two weeks of the NFL season and there's no reason to believe he slows down anytime soon.

The Jaguars will have their hands full with DeAndre Hopkins and everyone else on the Cardinals offense. Murray brings a unique element to the game that is hard to replicate. Look for him to light it up on Sunday, as this should be a long game for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
