Ubisoft has just announced the Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection Switch Release Date. The collection will be composed of three games and two short films in one neat package.

Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection Switch Release Date: February 17, 2022

What many fans consider to be the golden age of the Assassin's Creed series is headed to the Nintendo Switch on February 17, 2022. The Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection consists of the three games starring Ezio Auditore, mostly set in Italy and Venice in the 15th to 16th century. These games are Assassin's Creed IIAssassin's Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin's Creed: Revelations. Two short films revolving around Ezio will also be in the package: Assassin's Creed Lineage and Assassin's Creed Embers.

According to Ubisoft, the package will take “full advantage of the capabilities of the Nintendo Switch, including enhanced features such as Handheld Mode, HD Rumble, Touchscreen Interface, and Optimized HUD.” The game will be released both physically and digitally for $39.99.

This will be the second collection of Assassin's Creed games to be ported on the Nintendo Switch. The Rebel Collection came out in 2019, containing both Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin's Creed Rogue in one package. Assassin's Creed III is also available separately from the rest of the collections. In Japan, a cloud streaming version of Assassin's Creed Odyssey is also available to play.

The game also appeared during the Nintendo Direct on February 9. The trilogy will receive enhancements unique to this Switch port, including HD Rumble, touchscreen controls, and optimized graphics for the Nintendo Switch.
